Macassar Ebony Cabinet

A compound curves parquetry cabinet made in Macassar Ebony and Wenge. The inside is veneered with Port Orford Cedar an Quatersawn Maple. I included two wall-to-wall drawers in the bottom. Yellow cedar lumber core shaped and cross banding of a very thin shop sawn mahogany veneer. The unconventional construction and selected materials made this a challenging piece.
